Rules and Policies of GymKids:

1. Gymnasts should wear leotards or clothing without buttons, buckles or zippers and preferably lycra or other snug fitting fabric. Hair should be tied up. No jewelry.

2. Parents may wait in the lobby during class. 

3. A parent or guardian must come into the GymKids lobby to drop off & pick up their child. Children must remain inside until picked up. Please pick up on time so your child does not worry.

4. No one allowed on equipment or in the gym area without an instructor.

5. Returned checks will be charged a $25 processing fee.

6. Parents may watch from the waiting area or outside windows only. Try to observe without your child noticing. This is less distracting, safer and enhances learning. Please do not enter the gym unless invited by the instructor.

7. Make-ups will be arranged as much as possible if we are notified before classes are missed. Make-ups must be made within the same monthly session. One make-up every 2 months is a reasonable request.

8. Parking is permitted in the front of the building only.

9. Classes may be rescheduled due to bad weather, mishaps,holidays or vacations. You will be notified beforehand should this occur. Classes may be held regardless of school cancellations. Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of schedule changes.

10. Please understand that children learn at different speeds. Try not to compare your child’s progress to another.

11. It is assumed that all students will continue through June for the final performance and awards day. We understand that this may not always be the case so please let us know if you would like to stop lessons before June.
